1956年，18岁的Wilhelm Klepsch在Kaprun创立了家族企业Senoplast。当时，塑料的使用尚未像今天这样普及。
Wilhelm Klepsch作为创始人和设计师，布局前瞻，已经开始考虑旧塑料的回收再利用。
这也是Senoplast名字的由来 - 拉丁语单词“senex”（意为“旧”）与“plast”（塑料的俗称）组合而成。
